Nimrod is an elegant city water-resistant backpack and an ideal companion for work. It is made from natural materials, cotton canvas and Italian leather. It goes quite well with a pair of tennis shoes as well as a formal jacket. The cotton gets a patina over time just like pair of jeans does. The waterproof lining will keep all your items dry even if you get caught in unexpected rain. The main compartment can hold a 17.3-inch notebook and it closes down easily with the YKK® quality zipper. Nimrod has two handles on the top. The backpack can be quickly transformed into a bag this way. There are three pockets inside the lining to keep your necessities well organized. There is an inconspicuous pocket on top ideal for small and valuable items. It is easy to reach and secure due to the YKK® zipper. It can easily hold a Macbook Air 13'' for example. The bottom is wrapped with high-quality full grain leather. This is quite convenient when setting your bag down. The padded back and padded shoulder straps keep you comfortable throughout the day. The cut and pocket placement are the same for all color combinations. This size is suitable for smaller body types. The whole backpack is completely made in the Czech Republic in our manufacturing space in Prague. Two other models with the two-in-one functionality are the Canvas Bag and the Hanz, both made with handles. Another great option that functions as a work companion is the Haak for men and AYO model for women. A backpack with a similar cut, made from Cordura® is our Hanz backpack.

These backpacks mustn’t be washed by hand nor by washing machine!

Do not scrub the canvas or leather with a brush, otherwise the color can scratch off like with jeans.

Dry cleaning is the best solution for washing these items.

It is ideal to use an animal hair cleaning glove for cleaning because it combs the cotton and removes surface impurities. You can also use a textile cleaning roller but it is not as effective.

If the backpack is dirty on the inside, turn it inside out and clean the lining with a brush or cloth dipped in a washing detergent solution.
You can then rinse the entire lining with water, as it has a waterproof layer on it and the water does not reach the leather.
If the backpack becomes dirty to the point that it is unbearable, rinse it quickly under running lukewarm water.
Wash it while holding the leather bottom up and dry it upside down.

You can clean the leather parts with common leather products.
Be aware, if the leather is damp or wet, it can leave colored stains on clothes.
This is because it is not fixed by any chemicals, leaving its natural appearance. Over time the leather will gain a natural polish.
