How to keep my braasi in good shape?

COTTON WITH LEATHER MATERIALS

Please do not wash these cotton backpacks with leather bottoms by hand or in a washing machine, as it may damage the materials.

To ensure the longevity of your backpack, please follow these care guidelines:

• 1. Do not scrub the canvas or leather with a brush, as this may cause the color to wear off — similar to how denim can fade when abraded.
• 2. Dry cleaning is the most effective and safest method for cleaning these materials.
• 3. For regular maintenance, we recommend using a cleaning glove made from animal hair. It gently brushes the cotton and removes surface dirt without damaging the fabric. A lint roller can also be used but is less effective.
• 4. If the interior of the backpack becomes dirty, turn it inside out and clean the lining using a soft brush or cloth dampened with a mild detergent solution. The lining has a waterproof layer, so it can be rinsed with water without affecting the leather.
• 5. In case of heavy soiling, rinse the entire backpack quickly under lukewarm running water. Hold it with the leather bottom facing up to prevent water from soaking into the leather. Always let the backpack dry upside down.
• 6. The leather parts can be cleaned using standard leather care products. Please note: if the leather becomes wet or damp, it may temporarily leave color marks on clothing. This is due to the natural tanning process, as no chemical fixatives are used. Over time, the leather will develop a rich, natural patina.
  
• For PURISTA BLACK model owners: this backpack should be professionally dry cleaned only. Do not expose the leather to water, as the black dye may bleed onto the light cream canvas.
  
  
• Before first use, we recommend applying a protective spray to help make the material more resistant to water and dirt.

Models made of both Cordura® 1100D and Cordura® 550D are very easy to take care of.
Wash them by hand or in a washing machine on a gentle washing program.
Only use laundry detergent for sportswear.
Dry upside down.
If there are stains on the backpack or lining, you can pre-clean them with a brush or cloth and spray for stains.

We suggest that you spray and impregnate this product to make it water and dirt resistant before you use it for the first time.

X-Pac® is a unique 100% waterproof fabric, which was originally created as an innovative material for sailboat sails.
Sails designed for yacht racing are made to withstand extreme tension, extreme coastal weather, humidity and salt. That’s why X-Pac® is so durable.
In general, it is a composite fabric laminated from several layers: an upper nylon fabric (210D), an X-PLY grid made of polyester, a waterproof coating and a lower polyester fabric with a waterproof layer. The grid also determines the structure of the fabric, that’s why it has a visible diamond pattern on the surface.
X-Pac® is also super light (it’s the lightest fabric we work with) and very flexible. In our workshop we work with types WX21 and LS21.

Tyvek® is a nonwoven fabric made from polyethylene.
The individual layers are applied by spraying and therefore its texture looks like paper.

If the Tyvek® bag is dirty, you can wash it in the washing machine on a gentle washing program.

MERINO LAMBSWOOL BEANIE

MATERIAL ORIGIN
– LAMBSWOOL – made in Italy – knitted in a small family knitting mill in Latvia


Wash and rinse in water with the same temperature, max. up to 40° C.
Use detergents suitable for washing wool.
Squeeze carefully, do not twist, place in a towel and squeeze the water out with light pressure and shape it.
Dry your hat in a horizontal position, do not hang.

Dry cleaning or hand wash.
Using neutral detergent.
Flat drying in the shade.
Do not tumble dry.
Do not bleach.
Ironing maximum temperature 110 °c

APPAREL

Machine wash max. at 40°C.

Preferably dry in the shade, avoid direct sunlight.
Do not iron the parachute and membrane material.
Iron the T-shirts inside out.
